Year 12 Psychology Trip

Last week, four students in Year 12 enjoyed the excitement of competing in the National Psychology Competition which is hosted annually at Royal Holloway University in Egham, Surrey. Having already submitted a 2-minute video answering this year’s question of, “How can psychologists/psychology promote healthier working environments in schools?” The students were then invited to present a complimentary poster that they wrote and designed themselves. During the day, the students had to present their poster and answer questions about their ideas to several academics in the Department of Psychology. They also had the opportunity to explore the historic campus and listen to talks about current research in the fields of neuropsychology and reading. The students did an incredible job of sharing their psychological ideas, working as a team and representing Hillview and we are very proud of their achievement. And all of this during a busy exam week – well done Team Hillview for all your hard work and commitment.
