Hillview School Upcoming Events 

Year 5 Performing Arts Taster Sessions | Pre booking required

These sessions are an opportunity for Year 5 students to experience a Music, Dance or Drama lesson at Hillview School. 

They may be of interest to students considering applying for a Performing Arts aptitude place, although attendance will not influence the result of the official aptitude workshops taking place in October. 

Children attending a Performing Arts taster session should arrive at the top playground via the Kings Road pedestrian entrance to Hillview School for Girls at 8.50 am, where they will be greeted by a member of staff. Please ensure that you accompany your child to the playground area to be registered.  Students should be collected from the same point at 10.10 am. 

Students should wear appropriate, comfortable clothing and trainers. 

*PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CAN ONLY BOOK ONE PERFORMING ARTS TASTER SESSION FOR YOUR CHILD AND THAT THESE EVENTS ARE FOR YEAR 5 STUDENTS ONLY.

If friends wish to book together, we suggest that parents coordinate this at the time of booking.

UNFORTUNATELY, NO PARKING IS AVAILABLE ANYWHERE ON THE HILLVIEW SITE.

Year 5 Taster Mornings | Booking Full

As part of a programme of visits designed to give girls in Year 5 at primary school some experience of the work and atmosphere in an all-girls’ school, we would like to extend an invitation to your daughter to visit Hillview School for Girls on one of our Term 6 Taster Mornings in 2026. The morning will allow students to spend time exploring aspects of the secondary curriculum, such as Humanities, Sciences and the Performing & Visual Arts and will begin to familiarise them with the routines and layout of a secondary school. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CAN ONLY BOOK ONE TASTER MORNING FOR YOUR DAUGHTER AND THAT THESE EVENTS ARE FOR YEAR 5 STUDENTS ONLY.

If friends wish to book together, we suggest that parents coordinate this at the time of booking.
