Arbor Parent Guides
Hillview School for Girls uses Arbor Parent Portal to provide an integrated school information platform which draws together all your child’s information and the varying facilities you need to use as a parent.
What is the Parent Portal?
The Parent Portal is a browser version of Arbor accessible to guardians on a laptop or computer.
What is the Arbor App FOR PARENTS?
The Arbor App is the mobile version of our Parent Portal, for use on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. You can download the App by searching ‘Arbor’ in the Android Play store or Apple App Store.
Is there a Student App?
Yes, the Arbor Student App features:

A Student Timetable - This is in a clear format for the day, outlining the lesson name, teacher and rooming, including any cover teachers or room displacements which may have occurred. It will also display any interventions and detentions which students may be required to attend.

Assignments- The homework display is broken down into Due, Overdue and Completed. This will only include the homework set this academic year. To submit homework students should login to the Arbor website. (Submission via the App is in development)

Student Attendance - This displays an overview of the student's attendance and punctuality, as well as a lesson by lesson display so students can ensure they maintain the expected level of attendance to school.

Community Points and Behaviour Points - Students will be able to see when they have been awarded points and the reasons for this.
Students are able to download the Arbor Student App from the App Store or Google Play and can log in using their normal log-in details.
Whilst this app does provide students with a more efficient and effective way to organise their day and monitor their performance, there is no requirement for students to have access to this app. Students will continue to be able to access and use the website-based platform, as they do at the moment. Notifications of staffing changes and room changes will continue to be available on the school noticeboards and hard copy reminder slips will continue to be provided to students.
