Our Nursery
How and why Littleview was established:
In early 2002, the late Mr Stephen Bovey was Headteacher at Hillview. As a forward-thinking Head, he was looking for a way to retain and recruit staff into his developing Performing Arts School and also offer support to other local schools to do the same; by means of providing affordable, quality childcare solely for staff working in Kent schools.
At the time, the Littleview building was empty and available, so Mr Bovey decided to open a workplace day nursery. Alongside two CACHE teaching staff, Pauline Phillips and Rachel Carlow and the Premises Foreman, the late Mr Vic Ashby (who was responsible for the extensive internal alterations) they created Littleview Day Nursery.
Since its inception in September 2002, Littleview has provided childcare & education for the children of well over 150 Kent teachers and their families.
Littleview is a flourishing setting, whose inspiring Manager, Vicki Beebe and the dedicated staff team, are continually developing the nursery by reflecting on practice, to further enhance the daily experiences the children are afforded.
