Hillview Students Shine in Community Food Drive for Nourish

In a remarkable display of generosity and community spirit, Hillview students came together over the last four days to support our local food bank, Nourish. Beginning on April 1, 2025, we set up boxes in the school reception area to gather non-perishable food and essential items for those in need. The effort culminated in a heartwarming final push on April 4, when our community rallied together to fill the containers to the brim.

Throughout the week, students and staff generously donated various items, demonstrating their commitment to helping others. By the end of the drive, we had collected over 24 crates of food and essential supplies, with the overwhelming response surpassing our expectations. Many donations were so plentiful that they had to be placed in bags or near the designated mentor's box. This outpouring of support truly highlighted the dedication of our Hillview family to making a difference in the lives of others.

Nourish is an essential resource in our community, serving individuals and families across the borough of Tunbridge Wells and the south Tonbridge area. As a local food bank, Nourish does more than just provide food; it offers a supportive hand to those who find themselves in difficult situations. The people we assist come from all walks of life, and what unites them is the need for compassion and help during challenging times.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the drive. Your generosity will go a long way in supporting individuals who are struggling and in need of assistance. Every item donated represents a step towards helping someone get back on their feet.
